Thank you to everyone who came out in support of Winter Field Day.
Despite extremely variable band conditions and great difficulty in the exchange, we managed to beat last years statistics. 20M was the obvious strength this year, fantastic band!
As usual, this event is about much more than contesting. This is a test of our abilities to deploy in the cold, an opportunity to get some hands on access to radios, a time to discuss lengthily topics otherwise difficult to find time for, and most importantly an opportunity to form and exercise friendships.
